Defective Carnival Ride (Personal Injury/Product Liability)

            A teenager was thrown from a revolving swing ride at the carnival, suffering profound orthopedic and nerve injuries to the lower extremities.  A products liability suit was brought against the manufacturer and owner of the ride.  A substantial recovery was obtained for the client.  Moreover, as a result of this products liability lawsuit, all of these rides in the United States were modified with a safety strap so that this type of accident could never happen again.  (back)
